Youssef is an experienced executive in the field of telecommunications and networks infrastructure, having worked for more than 25 years with Nokia, Ericsson, Sagem Communications and other ICT companies across Europe, North America, the Middle East & North Africa – before joining MBUZZ, the leading ICT company headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Youssef is Vice Chairman and CEO of MBUZZ Group – overseeing the company’s international expansion, including its investments in North American start-ups developing next-generation technologies in the areas of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data centres, and the Internet of Things. As such, he is a Limited Partner of Yaletown VC Fund in Vancouver, as well as a Board Member of the Kaloom and Noviflow companies.

Youssef holds a BSc. and MSc. in Engineering from the University of Helsinki, and an MBA from the Helsinki School of Business and Economics. A member of many professional associations, he is also winner of the Ernst & Young EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Away from the core MBUZZ business, Youssef has been instrumental in forging relationships with football clubs and associations across Europe, most notably with Spanish LaLiga teams Getafe and Leganés.
