I discovered Elton in 1973 after hearing Bennie and the Jets for the first time. I was all of 10 years old and we were able to get within about 25 yards of the stage. Amazing isnt it how this one concert has impacted so many people. I was so exciting driving down to Foxboro sipping a few Michelobs hahahaha. Was 18 and living in Stow and just graduated from NRHS. M8s blowing up all around us was a little scary, but Ill never forget that show. Though the concert tickets and television might both cost $100, Ben personally values the concert tickets at $200 and Carly at $50; the values they each place on the television might be swapped. To hear songs like Where To Now St. Peter, Ticking, Empty Garden,Teacher I Need You,and so many others when his voice was still perfect I will never forget.
